With new markets needing to be explored how many of you are interested in developing skills for teaching Online and or Distance Education courses? How many of you are working on these very issues now?
Online learning is becoming such a huge issue. Many students are looking for colleges that offer online learning as an option so they can keep up with full-time work and a family. I've also seen forums and blogs for high school classes on the web. Since many students are involved in online social networking like facebook, twitter and myspace, it seems like the push is for schools of all types to have an online presence - not just for classwork, but also just for teachers as personalities. I think it's an issue that most schools are facing right now and trying to develop a way to approach.
